Earth Day

Why do we celebrate Earth Day on April 22? Is it the Earth’s 4,500,000,101st birthday? We have so many reasons to recognize all the ways that planet Earth is special and give her some extra love! We’ll be learning about some of the amazing animals and plants that live in our corner of the Earth with partners at the Kwantlen Cultural Centre. We’ll also get out the tongs and help clean up our school ground this week.

Last week, students enjoyed Easter activities like egg hunting, nest making and crafts.  I hope the Easter Bunny left everyone something yummy!
