Last week students investigated sunflowers and farm animals, this week, we’ll learn about all the healthy fruit and vegetables we can harvest from our gardens and orchards in time for Thanksgiving.
The week ahead: October 7-11
- Monday – at the park
- Tuesday – at the other park
- Wednesday – at the school. Library book exchange. Send in the field trip forms! We still need a couple more drivers to fit all the kids. I’ll let parents know today which 4 will be offered free spots to help supervise.
- Thursday – at the school. Scarecrow making time!
- Friday – Donut Treat Day and afternoon walk to Fort Langley National Historic Site to put up our scarecrows. Families can visit the Scarecrow Showcase starting Saturday, Oct. 12.
- Monday – Happy Thanksgiving!
