May is all about moving and growing!

May is here and so is the sunny weather. We’ll be learning about movement of objects and forces like pushes and pulls in science and we’ll be measuring and comparing length, volume and mass in math. Connecting science and math to the world around us is easy when learning outdoors where everything is growing and moving!  Students will also plant seeds in our school garden box so we can track the growth and learn to care for living things.

Thank you to the parents who drove and joined us at the hatchery last Friday. It was a joyful and educational experience in a beautiful setting. I was very pleased with student behaviour and attention to the volunteer leaders.
