Students explored colour-changing chemistry with red cabbage, vinegar and baking soda.
We went on our longest walk yet to the Fort to Fort trail. Everyone cheered the Gr.6/7 bike campers as they returned along the trail.
The week ahead: October 6-10

- Monday – at the park we’ll learn what to do if you ever get lost in the woods.
- Tuesday – at the park we’ll create leaf stories and art.
- Wednesday – at FLE. Library books can come back but no book exchange this week due to the Book Fair. You can visit with your child during opening hours, please do not send money with them.
- Thursday – at FLE. Thanksgiving soup. Please send a chopped cup of your child’s favourite vegetable. We’ll make a soup and share it with those who are willing to taste it (no pressure!). This activity is part of our healthy eating unit.
- Friday – at FLE. Individual Photo Day. Dress up with a smile! Depending on timing of photos, we may or may not get out for a walk.
