Last week’s fall leaves provided so much joy! Kindies also had a great time learning about the bats that live at the park through games and crafts.

The week ahead: Nov. 3-7

Even though November just began, we’re already preparing for the Remembrance Day assembly on Friday. We’ll be joining the rest of the kindergarten students to recite a poem, “Little Poppy”.

  • Monday – At the new park location. Langley Environmental Partners Society is coming to teach about the salmon that are spawning in Langley’s creeks at this time of year.
  • Tuesday – At the park. Our learning theme is beavers. Indigenous language teacher, Sesmalot will join us.
  • Wednesday – at FLE. Library book exchange. Jess Dance hip hop lesson, PAC Treat Day
  • Thursday – at FLE. Jess Dance hip hop lesson #2. Walk to the cenotaph with Kindergarten buddies.
  • Friday – at FLE. Remembrance Day Assembly @ 10:30. We’ll get outside to plant fall bulbs. Free Pizza lunch for being a top fundraising class for Terry Fox and PAC coupon books! (There will be cheese, pepperoni and ham & pineapple pizzas – please also send a small lunch in case your child doesn’t like it)
