Last week we endured some chilly, damp weather but still enjoyed our days by keeping busy with nature exploration, making reindeer snacks and warming up at the campfire. Friday’s sun was perfect for buddy reading in the park.
The week ahead: Dec. 1-5
- Monday – at the park. We’ll be learning how animals get ready for winter by either migrating, hibernating or adapting.
- Tuesday – at the park. Students can roast a marshmallow and sip hot chocolate to celebrate our last day at the park in 2025! (Teachers will provide the treats but please send a cup.)
- Wednesday – at FLE. Library book exchange. Metis mitten activity with Ms. White, Aboriginal Support Teacher.
- Thursday – at FLE. Winter crafts with Gr. 2 buddies.
- Friday – at FLE. Community walk to play ‘holiday decor bingo’.
