Terry Fox day was a big success! Way to go, we raised over $5000 as a school!
Students enjoyed getting outside more last week, discovering colours and acorns in nature, drawing their memories of summer, and taking care of the park.
Next week, we’ll be in two different parks. Check your calendars for the locations. Back at class, we’ll learn about Orange Shirt Day and the message that Every Child Matters.
Good news! We have no severe food allergies in the class. That means nut products are allowed in classroom lunches. Please avoid them on outdoor days (Mon, Tue, Fri).
Scarecrow supplies – LEAP classes are each making a scarecrow as a group art project. They will go on display in the National Historic Site of Fort Langley from Friday, Oct. 11 as part of their Scarecrow Showcase. Can you help donate a bale of straw or hay? An old straw hat or other accessories? We would like them at the school on Wednesday or Thursday, October 2,3 or 9. Please email me to let me know if you can help!
