Making ‘Wombat Stew’ and going on a leaf hunt were fun ways to learn in the rain last week. We’ll be finding more ways to enjoy the drizzly weather this week, like making and eating apple sauce and going on a mushroom hunt!
The week ahead: October 16-19
October is “Sock-tober” at FLE. We collect new socks for Gateway of Hope shelter.
Drivers, be sure to finalize all paperwork for Volunteer Driving. Thank you!
- Monday – At the park. Please send a small cup or bowl and a spoon for apple sauce. We will also be going on a Story Walk.
- Tuesday – At the park. Mushroom hunting and crafting.
- Wednesday – At FLE.
- Thursday – At FLE. Pumpkin Patch field trip! Drivers, meet at the classroom at 8:50 AM. Bring a labeled bag and boots. Earthquake drill and library in the afternoon.
- Friday – no school for students. Professional Development Day.
