We had a wonderful day at the Pumpkin Patch! Thank you to all the parents who drove and stayed to help and enjoy the special day.
Students have been practicing letter identification, sounds and formation.
This week our theme is pumpkin explorations! We are so grateful to the Borland family for donating pumpkins for us to use at the park!
The week ahead: October 23-27
Student-led Conferences October 25-26
This week we are excited to welcome parents and guardians to our classroom for conferences. I have switched the meetings to be “Student-Led” instead of “Parent-Teacher” conferences. This means your child will need to attend to show you about their learning and play. This change aligns us with the other K classrooms in our school. If you have not yet registered for a time slot, or need to make a change, please sign up at fle.parentteacherconferences.net
- Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 23-24 – at the park. Pumpkin activities.

Looking ahead:

- Tuesday, Oct. 31 – at FLE for Halloween fun. I will not be signing up our class for the Haunted House. Interested students could maybe tag along with a big buddy class. Students are encouraged to wear a fun costume but leave masks and toy weapons at home. We will be asking parents to sign up for a food item to bring for a class party.
