Last week students connected their learning from the pumpkin patch to our explorations with them at the park. We learned that pumpkins float! We also discovered so many different shapes, sizes and colours of fungi! Nature is amazing!
The week ahead: Oct. 30-Nov. 3
- Monday – at the park. Our last day at this park so we will roast a marshmallow and collect garbage. No need to send anything special.
- Tuesday – at FLE. Student can wear a costume (leave masks and toy weapons at home) and bring their item for the shared food. Best to pack a small snack and main lunch item as well. We will be having fun Halloween themed activities and join our K buddies for a short movie called “Room on the Broom”. Parents are welcome to come to the gym for the costume parade around 8:45AM.
- Wednesday – at FLE.
- Thursday – at FLE. Library book exchange. Fun lunch and Photo Retakes.
- Friday – at FLE. Community walk to look for patterns around us.
